Southern Chow-Chow is a pickled relish made with chopped bell peppers, green tomatoes, sweet onions, and cabbage. Use it as a topping for hot dogs, hamburgers, or barbecue. This Chow-Chow will also add little spunk to a bowl of beans or a side of cornbread.

Ingredients: cabbage, water, vinegar, sugar, onion, red peppers, green jalapeño peppers, salt, turmeric, spices
